Dr. Boulton
"Dr. Boulton performed a mitral valve re-repair after the initial repair 15 months earlier had failed. Dr. Boulton did not perform the original procedure in 2022.
Dr. Boulton was referred to us from multiple people and I could not have been more satisfied with his work and approach. First, as his bio explains, I can attest that Dr. Boulton set a high priority on personal consultation with myself and my wife. He wanted to carefully explain our options, with relative benefits and risks.
I had MANY questions and he patiently addressed every one. Given this was a re-repair following so quickly after the first procedure, he needed to make sure I knew my risks with a second repair, as well as carefully walk me through various artificial valve options, in the event repair was not feasible.
The day of surgery Dr. Boulton met with me in advance to review the plan one final time, reassuring me and my family members that we were in good hands. His work in repairing the valve was outstanding and his follow up care for me in the hospital (and at my post-op check up weeks later) was just as attentive as he was in the pre-op process. I have a lot of respect for his professionalism and craft and cannot recommend him more highly."

- Global health: Development of cardiac surgical programs in Kenya that has matured into first fully accredited fellowship program training program in the College of Surgeons in East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECA).

Dr. Bryon Boulton, heart surgeon, graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2002.
After medical school, Dr. Boulton completed a General Surgery Residency and General Surgery Research Fellowship at the University of Cincinatti. Then, Dr. Boulton completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship in 2012. Dr. Boulton is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
